EMF was great! It ended two weeks ago and I miss all the people and the atmosphere so much. Since then I've done the beach thing and this past weekend my sister got married in the mountains. Now I'm home. I'm ready for school to start but I'm not ready for the full work load and schedule all at once. I'm ready for labor day weekend, whatever I end up doing. I'm ready to go to Austria.

I will be in Austria one month from today! I'm going with my mom and two of her friends. We will fly into Munich, Germany, and rent a car (BMW would be nice) to drive on the Autobahn into Austria and stay in Vienna for a few days. In Vienna we have tickets to see Mozart's "The Magic Flute" in a Vienna opera house with the Vienna Opera Orchestra! Then we drive down to Hallstatt and the scenic lake country in the alps that is so Sound of Music-esque. Then to Salzkammergut and Salzburg (Mozart's birthplace) and to casles and monasteries. One of the ladies we are travelling with is German so we will have the European inside perspective on everything. I am so excited! I will have to miss five days of school for this trip but I figure that 30 hours of flight time will be sufficient enough for make-up work.

I do want to see all of my college friends before they leave! We must get together.
